By Sabine Schmidt

It’s on: 'Making Vinyl' the largest B2B Conference will be held again in Detroit, Oct. 1-2, 2018!

Celebrating the rebirth of the global vinyl manufacturing business.

It will include more than 300 representatives of the world’s leading pressing plants, equipment suppliers, record labels, packaging companies, and turntable manufacturers descended to Detroit to compare notes on the astounding industry comeback! Don’t miss out this time and save the date!

The 2017 edition already attracted delegates from literally around the world! Professionals from more than 16 countries engaged in some aspect of the value vinyl chain and networked face to face. Representatives of vinyl pressing plants finally were able to meet in person their PVC suppliers, mastering engineers, packagers, printers, and record label clients.

Bryan Ekus, President and Executive Producer of ‘Making Vinyl’ and Larry Jaffee, Conference Director will put together an outstanding two-day conference again, that is comprehensively covering every aspect of modern vinyl production.

Last year, pressing plant owners and executives including RTI's Don MacInnis, Rainbo's Steve Sheldon, Optimal Media's Peter Runge, MPO's Alban Pingoet and GZ Vinyl's Michal Sterba, were asked to discuss why they never gave up on vinyl in a panel run by Third Man Pressing's Randy Cholewa. How amazing is this?

Also, Record Store Day founder Michael Kurtz, Darry McDaniels alias DMC as well as hometown sponsor and music legend Jack White held keynote speeches at this outstanding event!

Making Vinyl Detroit 2018 promises to be a massive meeting again: The program contains sessions on pressing innovations and new tools, mastering, cutting and manufacturing intricacies, sales, marketing and distribution and many more! But the conference will also offer a special program for its attendees, besides the lunches and parties for networking, there’s a tour to the Third Man Pressing Plant, a Motown Music Crawl and the Making Vinyl Awards - the one and only competition that honors the best in vinyl packaging.

So go for it, mark your calendars for October 1-2 and join this amazing event in Detroit. Registration is now open at www.makingvinyl.com
