Independent mastering studio in Paris, France, run by Mathieu Berthet — sound engineer since 2004, independent since 2006, with 450+ credited artists and labels.
In-house lacquer cutting for vinyl production on a Neumann VMS66 lathe fitted with an SX74 cutter head, W495/W492 amplifiers and a Flokason PITCH18 system, running from Studer A80 master and preview machines onto MDC lacquers — one of the very few active cutting rooms in France. Both sides cut and supplied ready for plating.
Also offering stereo mastering and stem mastering through a Neumann analog summing console (Maselec MTC-1X transfer console, GML, Manley, Weiss, Fairman), and attended remote mastering with real-time high-fidelity monitoring. Artists and labels are welcome to attend sessions on site.

About
Mathieu Berthet began working in 2001 at Cyber Productions — then one of the largest producers and distributors specialising in electronic music — while training at SAE Paris. He has worked as a sound engineer since 2004 and has been independent since 2006.
The studio occupies a dedicated room at 150 rue Saint-Maur in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, built around a hybrid chain: analog precision for tone and dynamics, digital control for accuracy and recall. Monitoring runs on Klinger Favre Studio30 with Trinnov ST2 Pro room correction, cross-checked on Genelec, B&W and JBL.
Cutting has been part of the work for over twenty years. Lacquers are cut in-house on a Neumann VMS66, which means mastering and cutting decisions are made by the same engineer in the same room — no files handed off between facilities, no compromises made blind. Test cuts and reference playback are available at every stage.
The catalogue spans techno, house, electro, ambient and experimental music alongside chanson, jazz, hip-hop and world music, for independent labels and major releases alike.
