About
After you have a lacquer master of your record made, the next step is to have a stamp or “mother” plate made for pressing copies on to vinyl. Plating is an electro-chemical process that deposits nickel onto a thin layer of liquid silver solution that is first applied to the lacquer. The "mother" plate can be used to make a number of stampers, each of which is good for approximately 1000 vinyl records before degrading.

.I am the representative of a new vinyl record factory in Mexico and two days ago I sent you an email asking for prices about metal electroplating exclusively with 25 minutes duration per side, as well as shipping costs to my city and the probable delivery time. I would also like to know if you handle wholesale prices and with how many units you estimate wholesale and what price difference there is in this case. What requirements should I fill out to become a customer of yours. Since I have not received any answer from you in the last two days, I want to let you know that I need to start working as I have clients waiting for me!

Hello there,I am a vinyl fan and intrigued about the rather obvious process of a stamper that creates the vinyl but had never really taken an interest.As a collector what, if any stamper plates exist of bands releases?I know about the process of test pressings.As a huge Waterboys fan I am curious to know if such items exist of their workings or have I misunderstood the set up?
