Deepgrooves is pressing with brand new Pheenix Alpha AD12 pressing machines, the legendary 'Rolls Royce' from well-made Swedish origin to guarantee premium products. Our steam boiler and cooling equipment is also brand new from sound German quality. All the infrastructure we use is high end and is being maintained with utter care to create a top quality High-end product. Just as we want to see it.

At Deepgrooves we believe that pressing delicate vinyls is a craftsmanship which has to be build up out of first class equipment, communication, premium hardware and user friendly software. Steam, cooling and air compression are components which have to be very steady and used with care to deliver an extremely consistent piece of music pressed on vinyl, with triple quality control by eye and hand, not by machines....

Deepgrooves is the first vinyl pressing plant that is completely build upon 100% green biomass energy! Our complete eco energy supply is serving all infrastructure to create a sustainable environment with very competitive pricing. Our brand new Pheenix Alpha AD12 pressing machines are generated by two enormous Viessmann wood fired boilers. Future proof and sustainable to guarantee top notch quality and extended musical pleasure.

Deepgrooves is founded by Chris Roorda and located in the Blokhuispoort in the old prison in Leeuwarden. Roorda, a passionate vinyl collector, DJ, music lover and owner of the long and established Deeptrax Records shop and label.

Together with the very experienced team of music enthousiasts, Deepgrooves aims to create a new and unique green sustainable High Quality standard in vinyl pressing and gives your music the attention it deserves!
