Using the original, iconic EMI presses, our manufacturing unit has produced some of the most emblematic vinyl records in music history and continues to do so. Part of the British music industry, it is the plant that produced records by The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Sex Pistols.
The factory is still powered by the iconic and utterly unique EMI 1400 Press. Created in-house, specifically for EMI’s state-of-the-art facility, these are the only existing presses of their kind in the world. The Vinyl Factory also currently operates the last remaining gatefold making machine in the world.
