Equipment
The entire plant was originally owned by EMI records and is based around Neumann VMS cutting lathes manufactured in Germany. Our two lathes are stringently maintained to a specification above the original manufactures tolerances.
Europa Films record plating (electroforming) equipment is used in our galvanic dept. Manufactured in Sweden, this plating equipment was and is the best money can buy, with no expense spared in construction and quality. All EMI pressing plants use Europa Film Industries equipment for their matrix rooms. We use the exact procedures and chemical formulations used by EMI. These procedures have been refined over 60+ years and we are privileged to have the entire proceedures documented and adhered to.
The record pressing machines we use are manufactured by Toolex Alpha. Toolex record presses are also made in Sweden, Our 8 presses have been lucky enough to have pressed The Beatles and Pink Floyd albums through the course of their life, and still continue to do so.
