In the world of music production, EDC GmbH has a solid standing in the market as an innovative and future-oriented company, steeped in tradition with an outstanding 100-years of experience.
When production at Podbielskistrasse in Hannover was shut down in 1980, the vinyl disc era came to a glorious end after many successful years.
The Renaissance of the much-loved large vinyl records at their place of birth in Hannover is equally as glorious as their departure. It is like travelling back in time to 1904; the year when it all began.
Since October 2015, vinyl records are being pressed once again in Hannover-Langenhagen, using the good old and naturally completely overhauled Toolex Alpha presses from Sweden.

Much to our regret we were forced to close down our operational business activities as of 28th February 2017. In spite of all efforts during the last months an investor couldn´t be found to continue our EDC business.
